Ashley Upton Mendes, owner, has a BS in Textile Design from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science. She has extensive experience in high-end residential interior design. She is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the New England chapter of NAPO.

Ashley divides her time between the islands of Nantucket, Massachusetts (spring, summer, and fall) and Kauai, Hawaii (winter).

Organizing and design have been common threads throughout my life. My passion is to organize, beautify, and make a difference in people's lives. As a child, I loved to organize my mother’s shoes by color and style and ponder new ways to update our home’s interior.

That passion stuck with me through my college years at Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, where I studied textile design with a special focus in weaving. My career path evolved naturally from there. After college, I worked in interior design, continuing the journey of beautification and organization.

Now, as a professional organizer, bringing order to my clients’ homes and lives is my calling. I love to listen, communicate, and foster a sense of comfort and trust. I begin by helping you set goals, create a plan, and make decisions in a supportive and patient manner. My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental. I'll honor your memories and memorabilia. Together we'll work to get to the root of your problems and teach you how to be organized and succeed in ways that are meaningful to you. The end results are truly amazing—everything you do looks and feels effortless when you are organized!

When I’m not organizing others, I enjoy organizing my own home. (I make sure to practice what I preach!) I also spend a lot of time outside. The ocean is my favorite place. Collecting shells, riding the waves, swimming, or simply reading a good book under the sun all bring me pleasure. I also love being with friends and family. Going to movies and exploring new restaurants occupy my remaining free time—I’m a sushi fanatic!
